Custom TourGauge® Irons Machine Donated to Folds of Honor

Since 2007, Folds of Honor has provided educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. It’s a way to pay tribute and a way to have a positive impact on the future of America’s grieving spouses and children by providing them with educational scholarships

Custom Tour Gauge Irons Machine for Folds of HonorOne fundraising arm of this noble cause is the Patriot Golf Day, America’s largest Nationwide Golf Fundraiser. To help raise money for this event and honor our military men and women, Mitchell Golf donated a special red, white, and blue TourGauge® Irons Machine that was auctioned off for charity at the Oklahoma Patriot Golf event over Memorial Day weekend.

“Patriot Golf Day and the Folds of Honor has been very special to me ever since I attended the National PGA Meeting in Orlando and heard Major Dan Rooney tell the story of why he was starting this amazing event 10 years ago,” explains Patrick Gallagher, Director of Golf Operations at Mitchell Golf.  “At that time, I was employed at Treetops Resort. Kevin McKinley, Director of Golf, was sitting next to me while we listened to Major Dan Rooney.  The room was full of golf professionals and I would be shocked if there was a dry eye in the place.”

Patrick was thrilled when Mitchell Golf decided to make a custom Folds of Honor machine – especially after he saw how beautiful it turned out! He made the drive down to Oklahoma over Memorial Day weekend with the TourGauge Irons Machine where it was auctioned off for the charity.  Patrick continues to spread the word about this amazing foundation and couldn’t be happier that Mitchell Golf decided to support Major Dan Rooney and this noble cause.
