Several hundred attendees registered to win a TourGAUGE® Digital Spec Gauge, a $899 value. Jeff Jordan, PGA Golf Professional at Mountain Brook Club in Birmingham, AL was the winner. The TourGAUGE® Digital Spec Gauge is the perfect tool for measuring loft and lie angles for all irons. It is especially useful for quickly checking wedges.
Mitchell Golf also hosted free seminars about club repair, fitting and performance for PGA members, club makers and other interested parties. Ed Mitchell, PGA – Chairman/Mitchell Golf; Larry Baldridge -Director of Instruction/Mitchell Golf ; Stan Utley, PGA – Top 50 Instructor; Tom Henderson, PGA – Head Professional/Round Hill Club; Doug Davis – VP/Miles of Golf; Tim Gillis – Director of Sales/Miyazaki Golf Shafts & Ben Hough – Territory Sales Manager/Golf Pride Grips headlined a list of exceptional speakers. Seminar attendees were eligible to win free tuition to a Club Repair & Shaft Performance Technology School hosted in Dayton. The winners were: Matt Ball, PGA from Virginia Commonwealth University; Matt Tracy, PGA from Champions Retreat Golf Club; Robert Usher, PGA from Brookridge Golf & Country Club; Mark Farver, PGA from Swingolf USA and Don Johnson, club-maker and ICG member.
