Mitchell Golf Announces Master School Success & PGA Show Results

Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute (MGEI) completed its 11th Master Club Performance Fitting Technology School on February 16th. Once again, the class was sold out and students came from all parts of the U.S. to fill each seat. The Master School combines every aspect of club repair, fitting and performance into one accelerated curriculum which is the basis for its success.

The class was led by Larry Baldridge, Director of Business Development & Education. In addition the following students were in attendance: Kai Aoki of San Jose, CA; Ryan Fialkosky of Redwood City, CA; Kevin Drake of Las Vegas, NV; Tom Foley of Madison, WI; William Untz of New London, CT; Jeffrey Silva of Peabody, MA; Adrienne Viscito of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; Allan Batilo of Arlington Heights, IL; Ken Kaulen of Chicago, IL; Jonathan Swink of Charleston, SC; Steven Shiflett of La Grange, NC and Ryan Christianson of Seattle, WA. Jonathan Swink said the following about Larry Baldridge:

“Larry is a great instructor with a lot of knowledge and love for the game of golf. I came into the class young and inexperienced, but he made things clear and understandable. I recommend Mitchell to anyone who may be interested.”

The next Master School starts on March 11th, 2013 and three seats are currently available. Please visit www.mitchellgolfschool.com or call 800-437-1314 to register.

PGA Show & Demo Day Results

The 2013 PGA Merchandise Show & Demo Day was another successful outing for Mitchell Golf. Although show traffic was slightly weaker than 2012, Mitchell Golf still received many new visitors. Furthermore, a solid amount of buzz was created at Demo Day due to a cart stand prototype that will enable users to bend on the lesson tee.

On Thursday, Mitchell Golf hosted a bending workshop, a PGA Show first, and prospective customers enjoyed getting their hands “dirty” before they made their purchase. The workshop made it easier for customers to understand the mechanics behind an angle machine and what goes into bending. Due to the large amount of success, Mitchell Golf plans to host another workshop in 2014.

Lastly, Wayne Ogle, the PGA Head Professional at Sedalia Country Club, came away as the lucky drawing winner for a TourGauge® Digital Spec Gauge. The Spec Gauge is a great tool for measuring iron and wedge angles in a flash. Furthermore, it acts an excellent point-of-sale display if a course or retail shop offers club performance upgrades.
