Mitchell Golf To Attend 2012 PGA Merchandise Show – Booth #1709

DAYTON, Ohio – Mitchell® Golf Equipment Company, booth 1709, has announced that it will participate in the 59th PGA Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This will be the 23rd consecutive year Mitchell Golf has attended the show after releasing its original STEELCLUB® Angle Machine at the first PGA Teaching Summit in Dallas, Texas in 1988.

Mitchell Golf will introduce its new STEELCLUB® Signature Irons Machine, which is Tour Van inspired, at this year’s show and promises to have some unique promotional activities. In fact, they have already started to get things under way via Facebook. Mitchell® Golf Master Class Full Again

Dayton, OH – Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute (MGEI) completed its second Master Club Performance Fitting Technology School on November 20th. Just like the inaugural class in October, students came in from all around the world to fill every seat. To date, the Master School has been an instant success in the MGEI repertoire because it combines every aspect of club repair, fitting and performance into one accelerated curriculum. In only 6 days, students can achieve Master Certification and be back on their way.

The class was led by Larry Baldridge, Director of Business Development Education, with assistance from Tom Mitchell, CEO, and Ed Mitchell, Chairman. Mitchell® Golf Completes First Master Class

Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute, Dayton, Ohio completed its inaugural Master Club Performance Fitting Technology School on October 22nd. Unlike other classes hosted by Mitchell® Golf, the Master School combines every aspect of club repair, fitting and performance into one accelerated curriculum which provides Master Certification in the shortest amount of time. Mitchell® Golf Finishes Phase One of Cleveland Golf’s Portable Bending Machine

Mitchell® Golf and Cleveland Golf/ Srixon entered a strategic partnership in 2010 to produce Cleveland’s SCUBA (Self-Contained Universal Bending Apparatus) machine. SCUBA will be used by Cleveland fitters and golf professionals worldwide. Production started in March of 2011 and phase one was completed in late August.

The SCUBA, which includes Mitchell® Golf digital mechanisms and clamping processes, adjusts loft and lie with a mechanical jack. Since it is portable, it can be easily transported from site to site and used during an actual club fitting session. Clubs are adjusted for loft and lie using a pneumatic drill to ensure accuracy and constant force on the hosel of the golf club. Continue Reading »


Mitchell® Golf Publishes 2012 Winter & Spring School Schedule

Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute, Dayton, Ohio has published its 2012 winter and spring schedule for its premier training schools. Furthermore, Mitchell® Golf has added one more Master Club Performance Technology School to its fall schedule. The additional course will start on November 14th, 2011 and students have already started to register.

After overwhelming support for its Master Club Performance Technology School in October, Mitchell® Golf has already added 1 new school in 2011 and 4 new schools in 2012. Larry Baldridge, Director of Business Development and Education, had this to say about the Master Club Performance Technology School:

Mitchell® Golf Offers Tuition Rebate For September Schools

Anyone interested in attending the Club Repair & Shaft Performance Technology School or the Club Performance Fitting Technology School will receive an instant $100 tuition rebate when ordering by phone. Students can achieve Master Certification if they attend both courses listed above, but they can also achieve Master Certification if they attend the Master Club Performance Technology School.
