Dayton, OH – Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute (MGEI) completed another Master Club Performance Fitting Technology School on May 14th. Just like each class before it, students came from all around the world to fill each seat. To date, the Master School has been a huge success in the MGEI repertoire because it combines every aspect of club repair, fitting and performance into one accelerated curriculum. In only 6 days, students can achieve Master Certification and be back on their way.

The class was led by Larry Baldridge, Director of Business Development & Education, with assistance from Tom Mitchell, CEO, and Ed Mitchell, Chairman. Mitchell® Golf Receives Recognition As PGA Education Provider

The PGA of America has re-named Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute, Dayton OH as a Pre-Approved Education Provider for PGA Member Continuing Education. MSR credits have been credited to PGA members attending Mitchell schools since 1999 but the new pre-approved status makes it easier for PGA members to earn those credits.

In 2009 the PGA of America called on Ed Mitchell, PGA, member of the National PGA Education Committee and Chairman of Mitchell Golf, to assist in rewriting the PGA curriculum for golf club performance and alterations, which is administered in its Professional Golf Management Program for both Apprentices and the recognized college programs. This was accomplished by using the curriculum being taught at the Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute schools as a model and incorporated into the instruction curriculum.Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute offers training in club performance, design and alterations and club fitting. The 6-day Master School provides an ideal way to achieve Master Certification in the shortest amount of time. Mitchell Golf also offers four, two and one-day classes that can be taken at separate times to achieve Master Certification.

Mitchell Golf Announces Social Media Winners

DAYTON, Ohio – Mitchell® Golf Equipment Company has completed its two and half month social media drive. The Mitchell Golf Facebook Fan Page, Twitter Page and Linkedin Page have all grown substantially. The Facebook Page saw the greatest increase in traffic with a 600% increase in followers. New and old followers were presented with an opportunity to win free tuition to the Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute or Mitchell Golf tools.

Mitchell® Golf Completes First Master Class

Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute, Dayton, Ohio completed its inaugural Master Club Performance Fitting Technology School on October 22nd. Unlike other classes hosted by Mitchell® Golf, the Master School combines every aspect of club repair, fitting and performance into one accelerated curriculum which provides Master Certification in the shortest amount of time. As a result, the first class was highly anticipated and 12 students, a full class, from many parts of the United States and the world enrolled in a matter of weeks.The students were paired into groups of two and worked diligently with instructors Larry Baldridge, Director of Business Development & Education, Tom Mitchell, CEO, and Ed Mitchell, Chairman, to move through an in-depth course schedule. Larry Clinton of Wayne, IL; Don Lingofelter of San Jose, CA; Francis Petras of Tahiti, French Polynesia; Aaron & David Banach of Girard, PA; David English, PGA of Newburgh, IN; Allan McDermott of North Bend, WA; Glenn O’Bryan of Maryland Heights, MO; William Hopkins of Santa Cruz, CA; Mike Murphy of Rockton, IL, Sean Porter, PGA of Huntingdon Valley, PA and James Weeden, PGA of Deerfield Beach, FL made up the first enrollment.
