Mitchell® Golf To Conduct Free Seminars At PGA Merchandise Show

Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute, an industry leader in professional training, will conduct six 1-hour seminars at the PGA Merchandise Show Thursday and Friday January 28-29, 2010. These free seminars will cover two subjects: How To Add Club Performance Evaluation To Lesson Program and How To Set Up and Operate A Club Repair Shop.

The first seminar How To Add Club Performance Evaluation To Lesson Program explains how golf instructors can use club analysis to better instruct their students. Learn how The 14 Club Performance Numbers influence ball flight. Attendees will learn the steps on how to conduct a series of lessons with club performance analysis, how and when to make club performance alterations and how to charge for their time. Any golf instructor wanting to improve on the results of their instruction and want to create a new income opportunity should attend.

The second seminar How To Set Up and Operate A Club Repair Shop features how to successfully set up a working repair shop, what equipment is required and what services to perform. Business strategies with an emphasis on marketing are designed for industry professionals who want to implement a new profit center into their golf operation. A free manual will be distributed to attendees.

Bill Kumle, Director of Instruction for Mitchell® Golf Equipment Institute will make the presentations. Bill is a 38-year member of the PGA and is recognized as a foremost authority on modern club repair and retrofitting techniques.

Each seminar is limited to 50 attendees and will be conducted in the Orange County Convention Center meeting room W305A. Pre-registration is required.
