Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute, an industry leader in professional training, now offers a training school specifically for teaching professionals. The Teaching Professional’s Club Performance Teaching School is a 3-day training opportunity to learn how to add club performance evaluation and alterations to lesson program. The new school teaches how The 14 Club Performance Numbers influence ball flight and the steps required to make alterations for game improvement.
“Teaching professionals”, states Ed Mitchell, PGA member and owner of Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute, “who want to enhance the learning experience of their students should attend this school. It will teach them how to gain better ball flight results by including the performance evaluation and alterations of their student’s equipment in the teaching process.”
The new school shows teaching professionals how to add a new profit center to their lesson program and how to schedule both lesson and club performance evaluation for a whole new learning experience. This new approach generates income from three sources; instruction, club evaluation and club alterations. Adding club performance as a new dimension to golf instruction offers more opportunity for golfers to improve. It fulfills the role of teaching professionals as equipment experts too.
“The golf industry embraces the importance of club fitting as an equal part to game improvement,” states Bill Kumle, PGA member and Director of Instruction. “Teaching professionals can implement the club performance element into their instruction for total game improvement with greater results.”
The Teaching Professional’s Club Performance Teaching School is currently scheduled in March, April, May and June and is conducted at the Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute campus in Dayton, OH.
