Mitchell® Golf Launches Its First Performance Studio in the US. Elite training center features a state-of-the-art golf simulator.

Albion, MI – Mitchell® Golf Equipment Company (MitchelGolf.com), a leading manufacturer of professional-grade golf club performance and repair equipment, unveils its first performance center designed to teach the pros the proper method to make, fit and repair clubs. It also gives duffers a place to practice their game.

The Mitchell Golf Performance Studio in historic downtown Albion houses the company’s specialized club building, repair and alteration program headed by Larry Baldridge, a golf club fitter and technician with more than 20 years of industry experience. Students learn to repair, assemble and build golf clubs, as well as analyze shaft performance characteristics and determine how club performance affects ball flight.

The performance studio also features the Foresight GCQUAD monitor and simulator, which allows golfers to play a round of golf on some of the toughest courses in the country.

The Mitchell Golf Performance Studio at 304 Superior Street is an easy drive from regional airports in Detroit, Toledo, Lansing and Grand Rapids. Students can stay in Albion’s new Courtyard by Marriott in the heart of the vibrant downtown shopping district.

Mitchell Golf Repair, Build and Fit four-day workshops are scheduled for Mar 25-29, April 23-26, May 20-23, June 24-27, Aug 26-29, Sept 23-26, Oct 21-24 and Nov 18-21. Students receive breakfast, lunch and Mitchell Golf swag.

“I am really excited to have the opportunity to work with Mitchell Golf in their new training center,” Baldridge said. “I have a passion for club repair and fitting, and I love the opportunity to share my passion with other golf enthusiasts.”

The four-day class is $799 with an early registration discount of $50 if you register by the first of the month. Golfers can schedule time on the simulator at $40 an hour, with up to four people playing at a time.
