Why Mitchell Golf Equipment?

From pros to the DIYer, here’s why many club builders and fitters use Mitchell Golf Equipment.

Mitchell Golf Equipment Company is proud to be the industry leader in club building and repair equipment. From Tour Vans to hobbyists, I love hearing how our equipment is used daily. Our Mitchell club bending machines all have unique features, but they also have common traits that club fitters rely on. Let’s take a look at what makes Mitchell Golf Machines so unique.

    • Accuracy – All Mitchell Golf equipment is 100% accurate and easily repeatable. They adjust for offset, progressive, non-offset, and face progression hosel designs.
    • Ease of use – The equipment does not need to know the club in the machine. You will get accurate readings regardless of what the # on the club’s sole says. Our job is to make your life easier when working on clubs. We make the machines very simple to use time and time again.
    • Durability – Mitchell Golf Equipment is manufactured in Albion, MI. Years of manufacturing experience are behind every machine. Our equipment is built to last! This makes my job a little more difficult as the machines do not need to be upgraded often, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! We have had machines come in to be refurbished after a clubhouse fire, a flood, and even some of the original prototypes!

Regarding durability and strength, Mitchell Golf Equipment is designed to work on forged and cast clubs. To do this, the Mitchell equipment needs to be stronger than the golf club you are working with. The machines leave our facility ready to tackle the challenges of both cast and forged clubs. In addition, we do offer anti-marring accessories for forged clubs.

Stability is key when it comes to accuracy. So we strongly recommend installing the loft/lie machines for irons into a concrete floor. This will give you the most stability and feel when bending, especially cast clubs. Our angle machines for irons are packaged with a floor mount stand, including the sleeve anchors to attach to a concrete floor and an adjustable bending bar. We also have other options if a concrete floor is not available. Here is some helpful info on the proper mounting of your Mitchell Golf Angle Machine.

Personalize, customize, incentivize!

Club repair equipment used to be an out-of-sight, out-of-mind operation. These machines were typically hidden in a bag room or out of sight. At Mitchell Golf, we take great pride in the appearance of our equipment. I have worked with accounts that have installed their Mitchell Golf equipment right in the middle of the pro shop for a good reason: They want the golfers to be aware of what is available and the benefits they can add with a loft/lie adjustment, a different shaft, new grips, etc.

And just like the process of fitting clubs is personal, now so is the ability to personalize a Mitchell Golf Angle Machine with a custom color or theme. We offer custom color options if you want to show off your equipment!
